After completing the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Information Science at Nagoya University, he became an assistant professor of this course in 2008. Since 2012, he have been involved in the planning and management of campus information services as an associate professor at the Information Strategy Office. My research focuses on pattern recognition, computer vision, and their ITS applications.

Engaged in research on autonomou intelligent robots, sensor signal processing, and smart logistics. In 2024, he become a guest associate professor of the course.

After obtaining a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Informatics at Kyoto University, he worked as a program-specific researcher at Kyoto University, and in 2014 became an assistant professor of the course. Engaged in research on image recognition mainly targeting people, such as the use of security camera images.
